"Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? Horizon realty thinks it's okay."
Those words on a tweet resulted in a $50,000 lawsuit from a real estate company owning an apartment in Chicago. Now, it's resulted in the Streisand Effect.
Quoting Horizon Realty:
"We're a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization," [Jeffrey Michael] said, noting that the company manages 1,500 apartments in Chicago and has a good reputation it wants to preserve.
Smooth move, Mr. Sue-Happy. Very smooth.
