The ants have apparently declared a cease fire. I'm absolutely certain they'll be back, though.
In preparation for that event, I bought and deployed some Combat brand ant baits. And I have a new can of Raid ant killer, some Raid brand ant baits if they don't like the Combat brand.
I don't have a problem with insects in my yard (though that may change if part of it becomes a garden). The only serious problem I have is with them being inside the house.
We'll see what happens.
