Commodore Business Machines (CBM or simply "Commodore") went out of business in 1993, and their assets were sold off.
The Amiga division was purchased initially by Escom (a company which itself later dissolved), then by Gateway, then by Amino.
The Commodore division was purchased by Tulip.
