 - Howto for Linux Coffeemakers ^ - Yes, Linux does make coffee, and it tastes good.
-=[ InterNIC Whois Service ^ ]=- - Find out who, if anyone, any second level domain name within any of the generic top level domains on the Internet is registered to. (For example, the thornton2.com domain is registered to NetHere, Inc., the hosting service for Thornton 2 Productions.)
 - [Rebma: Web-MA Censorship Panda] J-List ^ - A wonderful toybox of things from Japan!
-=[ Joy's Diego Garcia Tropical Island Paradise ^ ]=-
-=[ Mini-ITX: The Next Small Thing ^ ]=- - Home to an impressive collection of mini-ITX PC projects, including the infamous Windows-powered toaster ("ToAsTOr") and the 800 MHz teddybear.

 - [Gee: Web-G Censorship Panda] Bible.com ^ - Proclaiming God's Word to the Nations. Operated by the Christ United Ministries, it contains all manner of information about the Bible, as well as translations of the Bible itself. (I'm partial to the NKJV Bible myself, but Bible.com has that and many more versions.)
 - Star Spangled Ice Cream ^ - Mail Order Ice Cream with a Conservative Flavor. (Why not? Liberalism has its own ice cream, why not conservatism?)
 - Penny Arcade ^ - All the news and opinions that really matter to gamers. News, reviews, opinions, and of course the comic strip series.
-=[ Internet Traffic Report ^ ]=- - The Internet Traffic Report monitors the flow of data around the world. It then displays a value between zero and 100. Higher values indicate faster and more reliable connections.
 - Wikipedia - The Free Encyclopedia ^ - The largest encyclopedia on the Internet, due in no small part to its Wiki foundation: Anyone can create new pages and correct existing pages at any time. It has grown to over 200,000 articles in the English language version alone, and another 300,000 in fifty other languages (including 11,000 in Esperanto).
 - View from the Trenches: Virtual Curfews ^ - Linux Journal - Networking - Automated part-time denial of Internet access without denial of LAN resources. This article was written for a father who wanted his daughter to have only part-time Internet access through the family's home network.

 - TurboTax for the Web ^ - Do your taxes online. Prepare for free. You pay only when you print or e-file your return. Officially supports only MS Internet Explorer, but responds well with Mozilla or Netscape 7+, even on non-Microsoft systems. (DO NOT CLICK if you are eligible for Intuit's Tax Freedom Project. You must instead log in through taxfreedom.com.)
 - Intuit Tax Freedom Project ^ - If you qualify, you can file your Federal tax return online for free (and maybe your state return for free as well) using TurboTax for the Web. If you qualify, YOU MUST log in through taxfreedom.com to take advantage of the 100% discount. TurboTax will not offer the discount if you log in through turbotax.com, only through taxfreedom.com.

 - DLL-Files.com ^ - Missing a dll-file? Download all your missing Windows .DLL files

The Censorship Pandas ^ are on loan from Mab's Land ^. They're not really "censorship" pandas, since I generally oppose censorship. They're more like rating markers. Please consider yourself warned that certain well-marked links lead to sites which may be inappropriate for family audiences.

Ratings in this hotlist are assigned based on my own personal judgement as a convenience, not by a recognized rating or censor athority. (Perhaps this is what was meant by self-regulation?)

As with every link pointing to a site outside the thornton2.com domain, Thornton 2 Productions has no control over the content of sites appearing in the hotlist, or even the availability of such sites. All reasonable effort has been made to accurately label the appropriateness (or inappropriateness) of sites deserving such labels, but no unreasonable effort will even be attempted. By clicking on (or otherwise following) a link outside the thornton2.com domain, you indicate your agreement to do the common-sense thing and not attempt to make Thornton 2 Productions liable for any content clearly outside of its control. You also indicate, by the same action, your understanding that your sole recourse toward Thornton 2 Productions in the event of following a disagreeable link is to politely ask Thornton 2 Productions to remove that link, to provide a reasonable explanation for the request, and to expect no immediate reply or action (or indeed any reply or action at all).

Thornton 2's a nice guy, but he can't work miracles, and he can do only so much. All he wants from the hotlist is to inform the public of data on the Internet that he feels is worth reading, even if some of it is more for personal convenience than public convenience.
