Extract the file FLAG.BMP to your Windows or Winnt Explorer Users | directory, using your favorite unzip program. | | 2. Click on the Start button, choose "Settings," then | choose "Control Panel." This will open a Control Panel | window. | | 3. Double-click on the "Display" icon. This will open the | Display Properties sheet. | | 4. Click on the "Screen Saver" tab. | | 5. Delete the bitmap file "Flag.bmp" from your Windows or | Winnt directory. | | Notes and minor | The file Flag.bmp is an ordinary Windows bitmap. If you issues | open it with Paint (or any other bitmap viewer), you will | discover that the image is flipped from its conventional | appearance and has a black bar along the bottom of the | image. These are necessary to make sure the stars aren't | on the end flapping in the breeze and to give the flag its | proper shape and dimensions when the screen saver runs. | | Technically speaking, this could also be used by any | screen saver under any operating system, but the task of | converting it to work on any non-Windows system you use is | up to you. | | Credits | This file was written by ArielMT.
