I already use many other IMs, but I also didn't upgrade my MSN.

I have an MSN account, but I use other clients (mainly [[http://pidgin.im/|Pidgin]]). I'm still lost for words at how stupid this is.
Also, might be related, I do use Windows Live Mail on my Win7 test system, and I decided to install the update, which came through as a recommended update in Windows Update. It upgraded Windows Live Messenger even though I don't recall ever installing it.
