Black and white pieces

arielmt-pawpet-sketch.jpg - 95K - Sketch done quickly for the Funday Pawpet Show's art jam on 21 Sept 2003. The topic was "Draw yourself with your favorite pawpet". Ariel and Mutt on the set.
coldsrnofun.png - 340K - Colds are no fun. The Winter '04 cold and flu bugs were nasty. Even the most resilient were knocked down for weeks at a time. Everyone I know survived, but only after enduring DayQuils, NyQuils, and misery. This is me as my avatar, looking how I felt.
ariel-ll-pose.png - 167K - The furre ArielMT just striking a stupid pose. The magic of Lost Lake gives unwinged felines a temporary set of wings. Since I don't have wings, I tried to draw the wings detached to emphasize their magical nature. Done in pencil, but the scanner made an expensive sound as it was scanning this in.
yarr.jpg - 106K - ArielMT again in furre form. January 15, 2004. I was in an alcohol awareness class for supervisors. The class, the fact that I had seen Pirates of the Caribbean recently, and the Captain Morgan Spiced Rum label inspired this pen art. No pencil was used, so all the errors shine right through. (If managed right, errors become imperfections that add to the beauty of a piece, rather than take beauty away.)
starshipheromayflowersmdraft.png - 70K - Starship Hero Mayflower (small draft). June 19, 2005. This is a draft for an animation project I've been trying to get off the ground, "Starship Heroes."
podcats-wip-pencil.png - 374K - PodCats, the cutest masters of the Pod People you've ever laid, um... "i's" upon (work in progress). December 7, 2006. I had this crazy idea running through my head... Often times I'll typo the word 'podcast' as 'podcats.' The same thing happens when speaking and trying to say 'podcasts.' Well, this cute little collection of critters popped out of my idle brain today. I'm definitely going to clean this up, ink it, and color it. Podcasting has gone way beyond the iPod. Fear it! Mwahahahaaaaa!

lstcs002.png - 65K - LiteStep: The Comic Strip - One of the scandals of 2002 was the sale of a CD containing LS themes, distributed without any theme author's permission. I still don't know if anyone who ordered a CD actually got one.
